A grand jury will hear the evidence in the Ronald Greene case next month, with evidence reportedly to be presented starting on November 10.

In May 2019, 49-year-old Ronald Greene died after a high-speed police chase in Union Parish.

Louisiana State Police told Greene's family he was killed in a crash at the end of the chase. But a video released two-years later showed state troopers assaulting Greene before he died in their custody.

Greene's family has filed a wrongful-death civil lawsuit against the Louisiana State Police.
