Mayor LaToya Cantrell will participate virtually in this week's C40 World Mayors Summit in Argentina.
Her office announced Tuesday that the mayor had decided not to attend the three-day conference in Buenos Aires in person, as she had earlier planned.
It would have been her fourth trip overseas in the past four months, following three trips to Europe.
Cantrell has agreed to repay the city about $30,000 for first-class upgrades for the earlier trips.
She will virtually join panel discussions on Thursday and Friday.
