Officials are identifying a suspect accused of threatening the University of New Orleans campus.
New Orleans police arrested Karam Mohammed Alhatel, 22, on Monday morning.
University officials say Alhatel was a former student who went to the campus and acted erratically last week.
Investigators later found photos and video on social media that showed Alhatel buying an assault rifle.
Monday classes were canceled and the campus was closed because of the possible threat.
