Business is picking up along Severn Avenue in Metairie following the completion of years of roadwork.
The project between West Esplanade Avenue and Veterans Boulevard fixed drainage, improved traffic flow, and made Severn more accessible for bicyclists.
Business owners along Severn say they're seeing more customers already.
Other projects have also been completed on nearby David Drive and the Causeway overpass.
