Officials are trying to determine the cause of a two-alarm fire that destroyed a popular restaurant in Metairie on Monday night.
Fire crews responded around 7 p.m. to the reported fire at the Ground Pat'i on David Drive at Veterans Boulevard.
The restaurant was closed at the time. No injuries were reported, but the building was a total loss
The owners of the restaurant reportedly say they hope to rebuild and reopen the restaurant in just over a year's time.
