The man accused of a deadly shooting during the Krewe of Bacchus parade is now charged with second-degree murder.
Police arrested 21-year-old Mansour Mbodj after the shooting that killed one person and wounded four others Sunday night along the parade route near the corner of St. Charles and Terpsichore.
The victim who died at a hospital is described as a teenage male.
Mbodj was originally charged with illegally carrying a weapon.
