Quarterback Jameis Winston is reportedly staying with the Saints for another season, to back up newly signed starter Derek Carr.
The NFL Network reports that Winston is finalizing a one-year deal with New Orleans that would pay up to $8 million, probably depending on playing time and incentives.
The 29-year-old quarterback was expected to be the Saints' starter last season, before he was benched by back and foot injuries.
Winston has a 34-46 record as the starter for the Tampa Bay Bucs and the Saints.
