Baton Rouge police say the man they wanted to speak to about the death of a Georgia businessman used the dead man's debit card.
Officers arrested 45-year-old Derrick Perkins on Monday night on charges of probation violation, criminal property damage, access device fraud, and auto theft.
Perkins is accused of using Nathan Millard's debit card at two convenience stores on Highland Road on February 23.
Surveillance footage reportedly shows Perkins driving a stolen car at the time.
Police later found the car burned, near the place where Millard's body was found wrapped in a rug.
