A new trial date for three teen suspects in a deadly carjacking could be set as soon as today.

The Louisiana Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that the defense will be allowed more time to prepare its case.

The judge last month ruled that DNA and fingerprint evidence was inadmissible because the Orleans Parish District Attorney's office hadn't shared it with the defense in a timely manner.

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal overturned that ruling last week and the Supreme Court agreed.

The teens are being tried as adults for the murder of 73-year-old Linda Frickey just over a year ago.
