New Orleans police are investigating a false alarm bomb scare at City Hall on Tuesday evening.
Around 7 p.m., an unidentified man placed a briefcase in front of the building and walked away.
A security guard took the briefcase inside and the building was evacuated as a precaution.
After the Bomb Squad determined the case held no explosives, the all-clear was sounded at 9 p.m.
