Raising Cane's To Raise Average Hourly Pay To $19.50

Raising Cane's is offering its employees an average wage of $19.50 an hour.

The Baton Rouge-based chicken chain plans to open 1,500 locations both stateside and internationally, with more than 150,000 new employees.

Workers will have the opportunity to make a dollar more per hour for working past 10 p.m. and another $2 to help train other employees.

The company will pay the rent for up to six months for workers managing a new location in a new market.
