Louisiana's Senators Introduce Resolution Praising LSU Women's Basketball

Both of Louisiana's senators introduced a resolution on Tuesday to recognize the LSU women's basketball team for their first national championship.

Sen. John Kennedy pointed out that the Lady Tigers had "scored the most points ever in a NCAA women's championship game."

Sen. Bill Cassidy said Coach Kim Mulkey had led the team from "a losing season two years ago to winning a national championship."

Both Republicans ended their statements with "Geaux Tigers!"
