Part Of New Orleans Street Closed Due To Falling Debris

Officials in New Orleans are closing part of a downtown road due to the risk of falling debris.

The city says South Rampart Street is closed from Julia Street to Howard Avenue, which is near the vacant Plaza Tower.

The closure comes after recent incidents at the tower, including a fall that killed a man last week.

The area will be closed until further notice.
