Another St. Tammany Parish jailer is in custody and accused of smuggling drugs into the facility.
The Sheriff's Office announced on Monday that Olivia Boswell, 19, had been fired and arrested.
Boswell is charged with malfeasance, drug possession with intent to distribute, and introducing contraband into a penal institution.
She had worked at the St. Tammany Parish Correctional Center since last August.
Former corrections deputy Breanna Sparrow, 23, was fired and arrested for similar charges a month ago.
