The St. Tammany Parish Council is investigating Parish President Mike Cooper over the proposed construction of an apartment complex.
The council unanimously approved the investigation at Thursday night's council meeting.
The 100-unit apartment complex is planned to be built in Covington.
But Covington Councilman David Fitzgerald says he didn't know about it until less than a month ago, by which time it had gone through much of the planning process.
Fitzgerald put forward the resolution calling for the investigation.
