The suspect in the murder of a waiter at Mandina's restaurant in April will be held without bond until his trial.

A judge denied bond for 22-year-old Kyron Fazande of Chalmette, who made his first court appearance in New Orleans on Monday.

Fazande is charged with second-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, and aggravated battery.

The shooting killed the waiter and wounded a patron.

Fazande was extradited last week from Houston, where's he's accused of killing a teenager.
