Hammond Nonprofit Heads To Shreveport To Help Severe Weather Victims

A Hammond-area nonprofit is on its way to Shreveport today to help people affected by the ongoing power outages.

Personnel with United by BBQ say they plan to serve a thousand meals to those still without power.

The group is working with the police and local churches for a location where they can set up to distribute meals.
