Fifth-seeded LSU used a dominant performance on the mound to shutout SEC rival Tennessee 5-0 on Tuesday and advance to the semifinals.
The Tigers will duel top-seeded Wake Forest on Wednesday for a spot in the championship series.
They will need to defeat the Demon Deacons twice in order to advance.
In other action, TCU cruised over Oral Roberts 6-1 to move one step closer to the first national title in program history.
The Horned Frogs will take on second-seeded Florida in the semifinals on Wednesday.
The Big 12 tournament champions will need to beat the Gators two times to clinch a spot in the CWS championship.
