A Dollar Tree employee is accused of setting a couple of fires at a store in Algiers.

The New Orleans Fire Department says Ron McGrew started separate fires on June 6th and 7th at the store on Gen. De Gaulle Drive.

Investigators identified McGrew as the suspect after looking at security video and talking to staff and management.

Jefferson Parish deputies arrested McGrew at the Gretna Dollar Tree on Tuesday for two counts of aggravated arson.

He was reportedly carrying a stolen gun at the time of his arrest.
