A potential class action lawsuit is shaping up against the company behind the data system involved in a recent massive breach.
Three Louisiana residents filed suit on Tuesday in a federal court in Massachusetts, where Progress Software Corp. is based.
The cyber-attack compromised the private information of millions of people, possibly including everybody with a Louisiana driver's license.
The lawsuit accuses Progress Software of negligence and seeks unspecified damages.
