The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority is on the receiving end of federal funding for completion of the Downtown Transit Center.
The Department of Transportation awarded the RTA nearly $25 million through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
The funds will cover the center's final design and construction.
RTA CEO Lona Edwards Hankins thanked the Biden Administration and Congressman Troy Carter for the grant.
