A nonprofit trade group for the adult industry is suing Louisiana over a new law requiring age verification for web sites featuring porn.

The law went into effect last year, and it applies to websites that consist of at least 30 percent adult content.

A spokesman for the Free Speech Coalition says laws of this nature are unconstitutional and don't work as well as parental filter devices.

He adds that it's unclear how the 30 percent threshold is supposed to be calculated.
