Man Sentenced To 25 Years For Hammond Target Crash

A man that crashed into a store in Hammond is being sentenced to more than two decades in prison.

Walter Allbritton, III will spend 25 years behind bars for slamming his vehicle through the front of a Target in June 2020.

Officials said Allbritton live streamed the incident, where he also took money from the registers and told officers they would have to kill him.

Allbritton pleaded no contest to charges including first-degree robbery and terrorism.
