Moreno Demands More Info On Police Chief Finalists

The Vice President of the New Orleans City Council says she won't vote for a new police chief unless she gets more information on the finalists.

According to WVUE-TV, Helena Moreno sent a letter to Mayor LaToya Cantrell on Friday demanding more transparency in the selection process.

Moreno is asking for the resumes of all six finalists along with information on them from the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

The IACP is assisting the mayor's office with the search for the new chief.
