The search for the next chief of the New Orleans Police Department is down to three candidates.

According to our news partners at WVUE-TV/FOX 8, they are interim superintendent Michelle Woodfork, former Henderson, Nevada police chief Thedrick Andres, and former Oakland, California chief Anne Kirkpatrick.

The three were chosen out of a group of 33 applicants that was cut down to six semi-finalists earlier this month.

While the names have been reported to media outlets, city officials say the list has not been sent to the mayor's office.
