Louisiana's infrastructure is getting a big boost.
The Federal Railroad Administration, or FRA, says $18.6 million dollars is heading to the Pelican State for two rail improvement projects.
More than $1.4 billion from the Biden Administration's infrastructure law is going to 70 rail improvement projects in 35 states, plus Washington, D.C.
Across the states of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama, over $178 million of federal funding will be going to Amtrak.
