A man is in custody and accused of embezzling more than $640,000 from his employer.
Roch Eshleman was the public relations director of a company owned by Jessica Brandt, the widow of auto tycoon Ray Brandt.
Mrs. Brandt's accountant alerted her to strange activity in the company accounts in June, and she contacted the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Department.
Following an investigation, deputies arrested Eshleman for 52 counts each of bank fraud and computer fraud, and theft of over $25,000.
