Part of I-55 Reopens As Cleanup Continues

Part of I-55 is open again after the massive pileup that killed seven people on Monday.

Louisiana State Police say traffic can resume flowing from Ponchatoula to the Ruddock exit.

Crews are still working to clear the crash site, but officials said that part of the process is almost over.

The highway will remain closed after cleanup so the Department of Transportation can assess the area for damage.
