New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado will be re-evaluated two weeks from now as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.
The team announced on Tuesday that Alvarado experienced discomfort in the ankle during his return-to-play program.
The 25-year-old missed the second half of last season with a stress fracture in his right tibia.
He then injured his ankle last month during an off-season workout.
The Pelicans open the 2023-24 season on the road against the Memphis Grizzlies tonight.
