Lake Ponchartrain Causeway Tolls To Increase Next Week

The tolls to drive across the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway are going up next week.

For commuters without a toll tag, the one-way toll is going up from $5 to $6.

The tolls are collected only on the St. Tammany side of the causeway.

Toll tag commuters will be charged $3.40 for each crossing, up from $3.

The new rates will take effect at 3:45 a.m. on Thursday, November 2.
