The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced today that one lane of I-55 southbound had reopened near the site of a massive multi-vehicle crash earlier this week.
Northbound lanes will remain closed until further notice as DOTD continues their inspection.
The agency said they do not have a timeline on when northbound lanes will reopen.
