The last phase of the National World War II Museum in New Orleans is now open.
More than a dozen World War II veterans and Holocaust survivors attended Friday's opening ceremony for the $47 million Liberation Pavilion.
Also in attendance was Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks.
The new addition features an exhibit about Anne Frank, including a replica of the concealed apartment where she and her family hid from the Nazis for two years.
