LeBron James scored a team-high 30 points as the Lakers crushed the Pelicans 133-89 in the NBA In-Season Tournament semifinals in Las Vegas.
James shot 9-of-12 from the field and also dished out eight assists in the victory. Anthony Davis added 16 points and 15 rebounds as Los Angeles advanced to play the Indiana Pacers in the In-Season Tournament championship game.
Trey Murphy led New Orleans with 14 points in the losing effort as the team combined to shoot just 35.8 percent from the floor.
The Pelicans return to action Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Smoothie King Center. In the New Orleans area, the game will be heard on News Talk 99.5 WRNO and the iHeartRadio app.
