The High-Speed Pursuit Task Force is still looking for ways to train officers to conduct safer police chases.
Jim Craft, the executive director of a state commission on law enforcement, gave the task force a presentation Friday morning. It focused on successful programs and training methods from police departments nationwide.
The task force floated the possibility of getting federal funds involved.
State Sen. Caleb Kleinpeter, who serves as task force chair, says he'll check with the other board members to decide whether another meeting is needed.
