Toys For Tots Looking For Donations As Christmas Approaches

Toys for Tots is asking for donations to make sure thousands of kids receive toys for Christmas.

This year, the campaign isn't near its mark because the need for toys has increased.

Community Outreach Coordinator Jessica Viva says they delivered toys to 65,000 children last year.

So far this year, she says they have about 28,000 toys, and are struggling to meet their goal of serving 50,000 children.

Donations can be dropped off at the Toys for Tots warehouse at 2940 Royal Street in New Orleans.
