Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels has friends in high places.
The LSU star and his mother visited Gov. John Bel Edwards at the Governor's Mansion on Thursday.
Edwards posted pictures of the visit on Facebook.
The governor said he made official proclamations expressing Louisiana's pride and gratitude for Daniels's accomplishments, and his mom's.
