St. Bernard Parish deputies are offering residents free rides home during the holidays with no questions asked.
The idea is to cut down on drinking and driving in the festive season.
Callers will be taken home, but not to a bar, night club, or party.
Deputies will take visitors in St. Bernard Parish to a substation where they can arrange to be picked up by a friend or relative.
A free ride home with a deputy is available at 504-271-2501.
The program started Monday and will continue until Tuesday, January 2.
