A number of school districts are canceling classes today because of the cold weather.
All New Orleans and Orleans Parish public schools will be closed, along with public schools in Jefferson, Lafourche, and Plaquemines Parishes
The public schools in St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. James, St. Tammany, and Tangipahoa Parishes are closed, along with many private and church schools in southeast Louisiana.
LSU is closed today, but virtual classes will be held in Washington and St. John the Baptist Parishes, Delgado Community College, Loyola University, the University of New Orleans, and Holy Cross.
