The Rosenwald Recreation Center on South Broad Street in New Orleans is open for people who need shelter from the cold.
In Jefferson Parish, Terrytown Playground on Heritage Avenue, and Johnny Bright Playground on Cleary Avenue in Metairie, are also serving as warming shelters.
