LSU Softball Starts 2024 Season Ranked 15th In Nation

The LSU softball team is starting the season ranked No. 15 in the nation in ESPN's preseason poll.

It's the 18th straight year the Tigers are starting their season ranked.

The team had a 42-17 record in 2023 and hosted a regional, but lost the championship game to Louisiana.

The Tigers are returning 18 players from last year's lineup.

They open their 2024 season at home against Nicholls State University on February 8. First pitch is at 6 p.m.
