Lafourche Parish deputies are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in his submerged truck in Larose.
Relatives reported 47-year-old Burnell Sens missing to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office on Sunday. Investigators traced his cell phone to the Larose area.
His body was found in his truck, which was in a small canal on private land at the end of Adam Blvd. in Larose.
An autopsy determined his cause of death was hypothermia.
Detectives believe alcohol may have been a factor. Toxicology results are pending.
