A Louisiana lawmaker is looking to roll back the state's limits on releasing criminal mug shots.
Shreveport-area Sen. Alan Seabaugh has introduced a measure that would repeal restrictions on arrest photos put in place by the legislature two years ago.
As it is now, law enforcement can make mug shots widely available when an individual is a fugitive or when they present an immediate danger to the public.
Seabaugh's bill that would eliminate those guidelines advanced through a Senate committee reading yesterday.
