A Lafayette truck driver involved in October's 168-vehicle pileup on I-55 near Mancha has been charged for his alleged actions in the crash.
Prosecutors say that Ronald Britt was behind the wheel of a Freightliner truck and traveling too fast for the super-fog conditions when he rear-ended a Cadillac killing one person and injuring another.
Charges against Britt include negligent homicide. He surrendered to police earlier this week and has been released on bond.
