Congressman Troy Carter is working with the U.S. Small Business Administration to host a series of workshops for people in the crawfish industry.
The sessions will provide information and support for crawfish producers, boil houses, restaurants, retailers and others who depend on Louisiana's crawfish season. Those who attend will be able to get details on financial assistance and how to apply.
The first session is planned in New Orleans this coming Monday morning at the Southern University College of Business auditorium from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Additional workshops are scheduled in Reserve and Baton Rouge on Wednesday and Thursday.
