Police are investigating two stabbings and a shooting at a homeless shelter in New Orleans.
Officers responded around 11:30 a.m. Thursday to the low-barrier shelter on Gravier Street near I-10.
They found that a resident of the shelter had stabbed a staff member and another resident, and had been shot by a security guard.
All three victims are hospitalized in unknown condition.
The shelter houses nearly 350 guests who are dealing with troubles such as trauma, mental health problems, and addiction.
