A man suspected of a triple shooting in the French Quarter is back in New Orleans after his arrest in Georgia.

Clayton County deputies arrested 23-year-old Michael Bates-Browder earlier this month and returned him to Louisiana last Thursday.

Bates-Browder reportedly shot three women on Royal Street near Canal Street a few minutes after the end of Mardi Gras.

He's charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery, obstruction of justice, illegally carrying a gun, firing a gun during a crime, and criminal property damage.
