The Tigers picked up a win on their home diamond Tuesday as LSU defeated Nicholls 9-0 in non-conference action at Alex Box Stadium.
Tommy White was 4-for-5 with two home runs and four RBIs. Jared Jones, Steven Milam and Josh Pearson also went deep in the shutout win.
Starting pitcher Kade Anderson earned the win on the mound.
The Tigers are now 26-16 overall and 5-13 in conference play.
They will host SEC rival Auburn for a three-game series beginning on Friday night.
