Testimony continues today in the manslaughter trial of two former Jefferson Parish deputies.

Isaac Hughes and Jonathan Louis are accused of using unjustified deadly force in the death of 32-year-old Daniel Vallee two-years ago in Marrero.

Vallee was sitting in a car outside a drug house and refused to get out. The deputies shot Vallee when he blew the horn.

On Thursday, the jury heard from a use-of-force expert who said the shooting was unjustified.

If they're found guilty, Louis and Hughes may face up to 40 years in prison.
