U.S. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is endorsing Congressman Garret Graves for reelection, but may not be doing his fellow Republican any favors.
The newly redrawn Louisiana congressional district map makes Graves's District 6 more Democrat-friendly, so Graves was thinking of making a run for District 5.
That district is represented by Republican Julia Letlow, who is running for reelection, and also has Johnson's endorsement.
Democratic State Senator Cleo Fields of Baton Rouge is in the running for District 6.
