A student is recovering after being shot outside West Jefferson High in suburban New Orleans today.
Police say the victim is 18-years-old and the injuries are non-life threatening.
The shots rang out as students were boarding buses and students were immediately hauled back inside.
There was a fight across the street from campus in a parking lot.
The gunman is still on the run.
